Buckwheat, despite its name, isn’t actually related to wheat or any other grains. It’s a pseudo cereal, meaning it’s used in the same way as cereals but doesn’t come from grass. Buckwheat plants produce seeds that are used as a food source. These seeds are ground into flour for making things like pancakes, noodles, and other baked goods.
